After three years of numerous experiments, tests and careful adjustments followed by the delivery of the tailor made technology, the time has come to unveil the first of the two demonstration sites. Thanks to the commitment of the project’s research institutes, universities, private companies, as well as the active involvement of local stakeholders, Centre de Formation et de Promotion Horticole is now able to welcome everyone who is interested to see what the DECISIVE solution for decentralised biowaste management is all about in Lyon on 14 November.
A public event will mark the launch of the demonstration site starting with a Conference presenting the DECISIVE project and its 2 demonstration sites, followed by a study tour which will include visits to the key stakeholders around the Lyon demonstration site and the demonstration site itself, hosted on the premises of the Training Center And Promotion Horticole (Centre de Formation et de Promotion Horticole, CFPH) in Ecully. The entire event, including both the Conference and the Study Tour are free of charge. As seats are limited to 70, interested participants will be confirmed on a “first come first served” basis. The registrations are now open and available here.
The event will take place on 14 November at IRSTEA’s Lyon-Villeurbanne Centre, 5 Rue de la Doua, 69100 Villeurbanne at 08.45. The full agenda, subject to changes, is available below.
